PunchCam for Windows-Design
		Draw your parts using the built in geometry creation or using the DXF file interchange. DXF files can be imported and exported. Built in drawing aids help you to quickly draw your parts using easy to understand dialogue boxes. Tools can be placed directly onto the sheet or attached to existing geometry. Punch centres are automatically calculated. A library of common sheet-metal shapes assist in the quick design of parts
		Once you have drawn the part, the software will automatically select tools for it. The software can select the tools from a turret layout or from your complete tool library. An unlimited number of different turret layouts can be created. Once the tooling has been assigned to the geometry, other cutting features such as breaks and micro-tags can be applied. At this stage any Machine Stops or dwells can also be added.
		The software can layout any number of parts onto a sheet size. You can work to a quantity or a sheet size. The software calculates the quantity that will fit into a given area. It will also calculate if you could fit more by rotating the part through 90 degrees. The multi part software will automatically cut out any regular shaped part adding the micro-tags necessary to hold the part in place. Please contact us with any enquiries about PunchCam.
