PunchCam for Windows- Program
PunchCam has been designed with BS5750 in mind. The software can be customized to enable you to create the paperwork that you require on your shop floor. PunchCam can prompt the operator for information about the program. This information can then be added to the G/M code as comments and can also be directed to a file for laser printing. 16 different user-defined fields are available
When you have designed your parts/sheets, PunchCam will assist you in selecting the best turret layout. Standard turrets can be created at any time to reduce the need for moving tools in the turret. The software also calculates the optimum clamp positions and all sheet repositions. PunchCam includes a powerful algorithm to calculate clamp dodge sequences allowing you to punch right up to the edge of your sheets.
New technology allows servo rams to be totally programmable. Because PunchCam has been specifically designed for punch-presses, full use of this technology is available.
A material database allows you to store your feeds, speeds and ram strokes as material names. This information can then be post-processed into your G/M code program allowing you to get the most from your punch-press.
